DJ Backs\ash

Thanks for actually visiting my homepage.

i wish i started this essay earlier, but i honestly think i improved my writing skills just by being at this school. teachers don’t really teach how to write one (maybe this is just wilson), but they kind of expect you to know the guidelines and where to expand. still an annoying assignment, but i’m kind of happy that my writing improves. i’m writing for http://edmsauce.com with great recent songs that i like, so it could help. djing was fun btw, im getting better at this. next time i’m getting 5 hours of music for 2 hour gig, you can never have more than you need. :3

That feeling you get when you decide that if you’re going to spend over $10 on a burrito with all the fixings you’re going to eat the whole damned thing in one sitting and deal with the consequences later, if God didn’t want you to eat it all he wouldn’t have invented it in the first place.

CRYING.

‘Falling Man’
In a scene repeated with terrifying frequency as flames engulfed the top of the towers, a man falls (or leaps, as was evidently the case with many victims) to his death from the World Trade Center. On the morning of September 11 photographer Richard Drew, in the midst of another assignment, got the call to drop everything and head to the World Trade Center. As soon as he arrived downtown he began shooting; later in the day, as as he processed what he had shot, he was especially struck by this photo — and with reason. One of the most recognizable pictures made on 9/11, the image from a purely photographic perspective is breathtaking: the miniscule human form caught against the massive, abstract background of the towers is so obviously helpless, and doomed, that we’re tempted to reach out our hands to try and cradle the tiny anonymous figure. And while Drew himself refuses to conjecture about the man’s identity (“I prefer to think of him as a sort of Unknown Soldier,” he told LIFE.com), it’s impossible not to put ourselves in the falling man’s place — with all the dread and empathy that that sort of transference commands.

Listening to Nicki Minaj has the opposite effect.

I definitely recovered some memories. Had the same effect with…

keep erasing parts of the post..lol, but im probably leaving this school. i would be better off somewhere else, and the only real thing holding me back is friends. i could see them after school and chill on fridays since i would get out of school earlier though, and obviously make new/renew old ones. my mom said she would drive me whenever since it would be about 1.5 hours before i usually get home. if i was in science or med or something i would have a better chance of staying, but AVPA and culinary are basically looked at as different parts of the same school..and a B+ does not translate into an A at a different school like some people say. ill miss free mods as well, but those aren’t needed at all. cant say ill miss much else besides culinary. i still want to stay and “bang out” junior year with no life…but whats the point. it’ll kill my social skills and ruin any fun that would come. i dont know what i expected coming into this place..

pet peeve: yelling.

there is honestly no reason to raise your voice at someone unless they are far away and you cannot get closer. yelling puts me in rage mode, gets me so mad. i will listen to you better if you talk regularly. get your point across, dont scream it in my face. it’s so hard not to flip out when someone is spitting in your face yelling at you.
